BITS Pilani Postman API Hackathon 3.0

About:

The BITS Pilani Postman API Hackathon 3.0 was held successfully from 01 to 24 Oct 2023. Participants built impactful full-stack applications using APIs.

500+ institutions from India and abroad participated in the Hackathon and 50+ teams submitted final entries. A total of Rs. 80,000 worth of prize money was distributed to three winning teams.

Careful deliberation by our panel of judges from the Postman Engineering Team has led us to the thrilling announcement of the winners of the BITS Pilani X Postman Hackathon 3.0  on API Day (5th November 2023).

1st place: Team Name: APIoTBlocks

Project: Feathered Friends, Team member: Anubhav Elhence,  College Name: BITS Pilani

Prize Money: Rs. 40,000

BITS Pilani Postman API Hackathon 2.0 (Powered by PIEDS)

About:

BITS Pilani Postman API Hackathon 2.0 (Powered by PIEDS) was a 14 days-long event conducted between 10 Nov 2022 and 24 Nov 2022, where students from all over country came together to build impactful full-stack applications using APIs. There was a very overwhelming response to the hackathon: 2338 students in 1282 teams registered and 500+ Institutions participated. Students built, learned, and created technology from scratch.

Here are the winning projects:

Project : Apna Pesa - The goal of the app is to derive key insights from user spendings and help users spend less and invest more. Achieves this through parsing  of spam, banks send transaction alerts SMS to create a robust expenditure tracking system

Project : Travel@BPHC - A portal to find people to to share your ride with. 

Project : H.Care - A dashboard that caters to users’ healthcare needs like tracking sleep, tracking nutrition, displaying health news, and much more.

BITS Pilani Postman Hackathon 1.0

This hackathon was conducted between 31 March 2022 and 8th April 2022. It was conducted for students across all BITS campuses and there were over 275 registered participants from 80+ teams. You can find the unstop (D2C) page of this hackathon over this link.
